Africa-Press – Angola. Members of the MPLA in the municipality of Cuanhama, in Cunene, are participating since Thursday, in Ondjiva, in a political and ideological formation of the party, to update their knowledge.

The nine-day training course will address topics related to the collection of staff management regulations, the MPLA 2023/2027 governance program and the party’s history.

Speaking at the opening, the MPLA’s first municipal secretary in Cuanhama, José Kalomo, said that the training aims to strengthen the knowledge capacity of the party’s cadres and leaders.

He explained that the new challenges require qualified staff in theory and practice, in terms of policies, to respond to the wishes of the population, who want to see their problems solved.

“Training the staff and those responsible is to streamline and make possible the implementation of the 2022 electoral policies and promises, which deserved the trust of citizens”, he considered.

José Kalomo exhorted the participants to be more rigorous in interpreting the themes, in order to better contribute to the implementation of the training plan for MPLA leaders, selected for this first phase.
