Africa-Press – Angola. Yesterday, in the Boavista area of Luanda, the vice-president of the MPLA, Mara Quiosa, advocated greater participation by companies in social issues in the areas where they operate. Mara Quiosa made these statements at the closing ceremony of the Artistic, Educational and Social Project in the Community, promoted by the company Sogester, during which she warned of the need for training young people in various areas of professional life.
The vice-president of the MPLA also highlighted the importance of companies supporting communities through educational and professional training projects, thus supporting the Government.
“I leave here with a very positive impression and also very pleased to see that, in fact, our youth want to do things, our youth want to participate in the reconstruction of the country”, she said.
She reaffirmed that the youth are increasingly active and participatory and that, yes, they want to continue participating in this great project for the sustainable development of Angola.
She also recalled that it is important to continue to pay special attention to communities, especially those where companies are located.
Mara Quiosa indicated that young graduates, who are equipped with sufficient tools, should be given job opportunities so that they can support their families.
