Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in the province of Huambo, Lotti Nolika, called, this Wednesday, for the strengthening of the militants’ intervention capacity in public policies, aimed at the collective defense of citizens’ well-being.
The party member expressed this purpose in the provincial act of launching the activities of the review assemblies and renewal of mandates of the Party Action Committees (CAP) and the review conferences, held in the municipal town of Bailundo, 75 kilometers north of the city of Huambo.
He said that MPLA militants must be resilient and promote dialogue circles in communities, to clarify the public policies adopted by the Angolan Government, as well as in the methodological innovation of political-party procedures, for the recruitment of new militants, from the perspective of strengthening the party ranks.
Lotti Nolika guided the defense and preservation of the party’s image, in addition to the unconditional support for President João Lourenço, in guiding the country’s destiny, towards strategic social and economic development.
He recognized that the MPLA achieved a broad and positive insertion in the province of Huambo, based on the construction of cohesion and a climate of solidarity, based on the humanization of communities.
Therefore, he said it is essential that there is greater engagement of militants for the permanent reliability of the population.
He recommended the need for each MPLA militant to be involved in peace preservation missions, to become an exemplary agent capable of contributing to social moralization and the promotion of patriotic values.
The assemblies of review and renewal of mandates of the Party Action Committees (CAP) and the review conferences will take place until December this year, in all municipalities in the province of Huambo, with the aim of strengthening party structures.
During the event, MPLA members appreciated the party’s Political Agenda for this year, focused on promoting the diversification of the economy, the continuous training of citizens, education for citizenship, patriotism, national cohesion and social solidarity.
