Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in Cuando Cubango, José Martins, recommended Saturday, in the city of Menongue, greater engagement of young people from the JMPLA in consolidating the peace process, in favor of achieving sustainable development in the province.
José Martins made this statement at the end of the peace march that brought together more than 2,500 young people, including JMPLA and civil society activists, who, dressed in white and red, walked along the main streets of the city of Menongue, capital of Cuando Cubango .
The politician admitted that the population of Cuando Cubango is a staunch defender of the consolidation and preservation of peace, as it felt the effects of war hard, hence the continuous protection of this greater good, conquered with the loss of human lives of the best sons of this country.
“All Angolans must work permanently to preserve peace, not allow acts of contempt, vandalism of public goods”, he stressed.
For José Martins, the good citizen respects his neighbor, national symbols, State authorities, in favor of social, economic and political well-being.

The first provincial secretary of the JMPLA, Severino Sawanda, defended the need for young people to commit themselves to the stability of peace and national reconciliation.
