The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Moxico, Ernesto Muangala, calls for the involvement and commitment of the party’s militants in the execution of the General State Budget for the current financial year to allow achieving the goals, which aim to satisfy the collective needs of the country.

The politician who spoke during the Third Ordinary Session of this party, held in the commune of Lucusse, which analyzed the General State Budget (OGE) highlighted that the province benefited from a 37.56% increase from 88 billion kwanza in 2022 , to more than 122 billion kwanzas in 2023.

According to the official, this year’s OGE, which provides for various actions in the areas of education, health, energy and water, housing and social infrastructure, could positively impact the population’s way of life.

He highlighted the significant increase in expenditure by central bodies with incidences in the province of Moxico, with values ​​estimated at more than 43 billion kwanzas, representing 35.71% of the province’s total.

He added that these funds will enable the construction of roads, with emphasis on the section between March 25 – Cazombo – Lumbala Caquengue, in the municipality of Alto Zambeze, Luzi / Cassanba / Cangamba, in the municipality of Luchazes, in addition to bridges, schools, hospitals, in addition to the construction of 1500 homes in the second phase of the Heróis do Cangamba centrality.

At the moment, among the challenges we face, he continued, I would highlight our party’s growth strategy, which requires commitment and a spirit of mission from all of us, so that “we can reach the assigned figures”, he said.

During the III session, the militants also approved a campaign strategy for the party’s 2023-2024 growth, with the engagement of the party structures being recommended.
