Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA Political Bureau approved, this Tuesday, the holding, next October, of Extraordinary Party Conferences in the provinces of Luanda, Moxico, Bengo, Malanje, Zaire, Cabinda, Lunda-Norte and Cuanza-Norte, due to the recent appointment of the respective provincial governors.
The decision is contained in the final communiqué of the IV Extraordinary Meeting of the Political Bureau, guided by the MPLA president, João Lourenço, which took place in the Central Committee Auditorium, at the Futungo II Tourist Complex, in Luanda.
During the meeting, adjustments to the structure of its party secretariat were also approved, as well as the election of Manuel Gonçalves Muandumba, a member of the Political Bureau, to serve as secretary of the Political Bureau Mobilization and Insertion, replacing Jorge Inocêncio Dombolo.
