Africa-Press – Angola. The Monitoring Group of the Political Bureau of the MPLA to the province of Cuanza-Norte, coordinated by João Diogo Gaspar, carried out, on Wednesday, a visit to the municipality of Golungo Alto, with the objective of X-raying the ongoing social projects in the region and listen to the local population about the main problems.
Flanked by the 1st provincial secretary of the party and current governor, Pedro Makita Júlia, the BP Follow-up Group to Cuanza-Norte interacted with the militants of the Action Committees of the municipal headquarters and the Balão neighborhood, where it exhorted the need for greater cohesion and commitment of the militants in the challenges that are imposed and that will guarantee the victory of the MPLA in the 2027 elections.
“Comrade President João Lourenço is with you, he wants to continue working with the youth of this municipality, with the elderly, with the traditional and ecclesiastical authorities, for the construction of a country worthy of living”, said João Diogo Gaspar.
With a focus on improving the living conditions of local populations, the Group visited social works in progress, which will ensure a significant improvement in the near future in the distribution of electricity, drinking water, quality education and road circulation more in line with the needs of the region.
The visit of the Accompanying Group extends until Saturday, December 10th, with the holding of a mass event alluding to the anniversary of the MPLA, in the municipality of Ambaca.
