Africa-Press – Angola. The National Assembly (AN) discusses and votes for its approval, Wednesday, the General State Account (CGE) for the 2020 fiscal year.
According to a note from the National Assembly, the vote will take place during its 5th Ordinary Plenary Meeting of the 1st Legislative Session of the 5th Legislature.
The General State Account (CGE) is the set of financial statements, accounting, budgetary and financial documents, and management performance reports, corresponding to acts of budgetary, financial, asset and operational management and custody of assets and values public.
The said document comprises the accounts of all bodies of the Central and Local Administration of the State and Services, Public Institutes and Autonomous Funds, as well as Social Security and Bodies of Sovereignty.
The Court of Auditors (TC) sends the opinion on the CGE to the AN together with the annual report, which must contain a summary of the jurisdictional deliberations referring to the current financial year and proposes measures to be adopted to improve the financial management of public resources.
The approval of the General State Account (CGE) stems from legal precepts, in the sense of greater transparency in public management.
