Africa-Press – Angola. The prepaid energy sales service, interrupted on Sunday in the country, due to a technical breakdown, is now back to normal, informs the National Electricity Distribution Company (ENDE) this Monday.

A failure in the national IT system had caused the temporary interruption of sales, throughout the territory, in face-to-face and virtual channels, namely ATM (Multicaixa), Internetbanking and Multicaixa Express.

ENDE reiterates sincere apologies to customers and calls for maximum understanding for the inconvenience caused, as well as informing that customer support service remains available 24/7, to guarantee technical support and other clarifications to users.

Resulting from the merger of the assets of the extinct EDEL and ENE, ENDE’s mission is to distribute and sell electrical energy nationally, within the scope of the Public Electrical System (SEP) and in high, medium and low voltage, under a public service regime under the terms of the General Electricity Law and its Regulations.
