Africa-Press – Angola. The 2nd Commander for Public Order of the National Police, in Lunda Sul, demanded rigor in customs inspection acts, with a view to raising revenue for the State.
Manuel Lopes, who was speaking to the staff of the Customs Fiscal Police in the region, also demanded rigor against tax evasion, with a focus on improving revenue collection for the State.
In his speech, the official, flanked by the commander of the Fiscal and Customs Unit of Lunda Sul, encouraged the members of that branch to work with pride and dedication.
The commander of the Fiscal Unit in Lunda Sul, Mário Senga, pledged to reinforce inspections at border posts and to intensify the training of the staff.
The Customs Fiscal Police is a specialized force of the General Command of the National Police whose mission is to ensure the control of goods entering, circulating and leaving the country.
This branch of the National Police marked, on Monday, the 27th anniversary of its foundation. It was created on June 12, 1996.
