Africa-Press – Angola. Eighty billion kwanzas is the amount foreseen in the General State Budget (OGE) to support operating expenses and investments in the province of Malanje, during the 2023 financial year.
Of the total estimated value, 21 billion and 800 million kwanzas will be used for investments in the various sectors and 65 billion and 900 million kwanzas will be used for current expenses.
The information was released on Friday (10th), by the director of the Studies, Planning and Statistics Office of the Provincial Government of Malanje, Joaquim Coxe, at the end of the 1st Ordinary Session of the Provincial Government of Malanje.
As for the distribution by sectors, he explained that 27 billion will be allocated for education, 21 billion for health, 19 billion for community services and 15 billion kwanzas for expenses with public services.
On the other hand, Joaquim Coxe made it known that the Government of Malanje will set in motion the Provincial Development Plan 2023-2027, favoring, among other areas, the rehabilitation of intermunicipal sections, at a time when six of the 14 municipalities in the province are having difficulties in this domain.
He stressed that the aforementioned plan will still be submitted to the appreciation of members of civil society, with a view to its improvement.
Under the guidance of the provincial governor, Marcos Alexandre Nhunga, the 1st Ordinary Session of the Government of Malanje analyzed the payment plan for debts contracted by the government, deconcentration of expenditure payments, the Provincial Development Plan 2023-2027, the General State Budget (OGE), Integrated Plan for Local Development and Combating Poverty (PDLCP), Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), among other matters.
