The presentation underlines that several factors influenced prices negatively, including concerns related to the new containment measures in China, the return of Libyan production to the market, and in a positive way, the decision of the European Union to reduce imports of Russian oil by 90 percent by the end of the year.
“As for the average price of Angolan vines, there was a decrease of 10.73 percent compared to the second quarter of 2022 and an increase of 38.46 percent compared to the same period of 2021”, the document adds.
Exports were led by the National Petroleum and Gas Agency (27.11 percent), followed by Sonangol (14.29), standing out among international companies TotalEnergies (14.43 percent), Esso (8.26 percent) ), SSI (7.46), BP (6.78) Equinor (6.64), ENI (6.63) and Cabgoc (5.55).
The main commercialized vines were Mustard (11.20 percent), Dália (11.14), Clov (10.74), Nemba (9.48) and Pazflor (7.58).
China continues to lead the list of destination countries for Angolan oil exports, with 45.37 percent, followed by India, with 9.66; from France, with 9.45; Canada, with 6.84 and Spain, with 6.73 percent, respectively.
Regarding exports of gas and condensate, in the period under analysis, more than one million metric tons were exported, with a cash inflow of 2.1 billion dollars (Kz 962.9 billion), representing an increase of 12.14 per percent compared to the second quarter of the current year and a decrease of 12.82 percent in the volume exported in the same period of 2021.
The document indicates that 825.21 thousand metric tons of LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) were exported, at an average price of 2.4 million dollars (Kz 1.1 billion), 38.06 thousand metric tons of butane, at the price 507 thousand dollars (Kz 232 million), 130.42 thousand metric tons of propane, at an average price of 496 thousand dollars (463 thousand euros), and 66.66 thousand metric tons of condensate, at an average price of 560 thousand dollars (523 thousand euros).
LNG had as main destinations the Netherlands (41.53 percent), India (25.68) and Spain (24.48), while butane and propane had China (99.07 percent) as main buyers. and the Democratic Republic of Congo (0.93), for butane, and Belgium (33.77) and China (32.78), for propane. As regards condensates, Belgium was the main export destination for this product.
