Africa-Press – Angola. The first municipal secretary of the Angolan Women’s Organization (OMA), in Saurimo (Lunda-Sul), Carla Mbuizo, appealed to the influx of women to the Single Public Service Desk (BUAP), to update the Official Electoral Register.

This is an action that enables voters to vote in the next election, scheduled for August in the country. Carla Mbuizo made the appeal, on Saturday, during a political act, as part of the commemorations of the Angolan Women’s Day, marked on the 2nd of the current month.

On the occasion, the leader considered it essential that women mobilize those closest to them and encourage the turnout to the Official Electoral Register.

Present at the act, the provincial director of Registries and Administrative Modernization, Domingos Catambila, assured that the technical and human conditions are created for the normal functioning of these services in the region.

“Do not leave to the last minute what you can do now. The Unofficial Electoral Registration process began in September 2021 and ends in the current month”, he recalled.

In total, the province of Lunda-Sul has 14 One-Stop Public Service Desks (BUAP).
