Africa-Press – Angola. The coach of Desportivo da Huíla, Paulo Torres, gave credit today, Sunday, in Lubango, to his players for the 1-0 victory over Bravos do Maquis, in a match of the 15th round and last round of the National Football Championship (Girabola 2024/25).
Speaking to the press at the end of the match, the coach stated that the team was in good physical and psychological shape during the 90 minutes, that is, for not slipping up and not even allowing defeat at home.
He considered that CDH during the first round did not manage to obtain the expected results, despite never having won away from home.
Therefore, he said, Desportivo da Huíla ends the first round with 19 points, with ten victories, the same number of draws, 30 goals conceded and 28 scored.
He stated that he was not satisfied with the results obtained in the first round, due to the players never having achieved anything at home.
In turn, Bravos do Maquis coach Mário Soares stated that the 0-1 defeat was a consequence of poor preparation on the day and players on the field.
On the occasion, he congratulated the CDH team for having shown agility during the game.
