Africa-Press – Angola. Around 100 peasant families are going, in the municipality of Banga, Cuanza Norte province, to benefit from 2,000 rustic breed chicks, within the scope of the Fostering Poultry Production project, of the local administration.
The delivery of the birds will begin in the next few days and will also include 15 farmers.
According to the municipal director of Banga da Agricultura, Lando Kinanvuidi, the birds were purchased by the municipal administration, with resources from the Program for Local Development and Combating Poverty.
He said it was the second time that local families, especially peasants, had benefited from such a gesture.
At that moment, technicians from the local administration are visiting the families to be contemplated in order to verify the accommodation conditions of the chicks.
