Pepetela Auditorium hosts Short Films Cycle

Africa-Press – Angola. The film “Paralympia”, by Coletivo Hyperion, opened yesterday, at 3:30 pm, at the Peptela auditorium, in Camões, the short film cycled by Portuguese directors, called “New York Portuguese Short Film Festival 2022” (NYPSFF).

Entrance was free, in a partnership between Camões – Centro Cultural Português and the Arte Institute, whose films, on display, were part of the official selection of the NYPSFF.

The cinema cycled ends at 18:00, and 10 films was shown, including “The Girl From Saturn”, “My Castle, My Home”, “Two Cartoonists”, “Ouro Sobre Azul”, “The Coop”, “A Straight Story”, “Her name was Carla” and “Still Life”.

The Portuguese films were by the directors Gonçalo Almeida, Bruno Teixeira, Rita Al Cunha, Francisca Coutinho, Gonçalo Eugénio, Andreia Pereira da Silva, José Mira, Cátia Biscaia and João Garcia Neto.
