Africa-Press – Angola. Petro de Luanda and 1o de Agosto begin this Monday, in Orange, Algeria, the dispute for the access pass to the final of the African Super Cup in senior women’s handball.

The “oil companies”, holders of the title, face, at 4 pm, Al Ahly from Egypt, while the “military” teams face the DGSP from Congo.

In the formation of “Rio Seco”, Spanish coach Carlos Viver will make his debut, in a competition under the aegis of the African Handball Confederation (CAHB).

Later this week, the two Angolan representatives will compete in the 40th edition of the Cup Winning Clubs’ Cup.

1o de Agosto is part of Group A, with DGSP from Congo, Al Ahly (Egypt) and HBC Ceb (Algeria).

Petro, holder of the title, and technically guided by Luís Chaves, is part of series B, alongside AS Otoho, from Congo, Abdjan HBC (Côte d’Ivoire) and FC Boumerdes (Algeria).
