Africa-Press – Angola. Petro de Luanda’s mission is facilitated in the double round (26th and 27th) of the National Senior Men’s Basketball Championship, when they face Clube dos Amigos do Basquetebol de Benguela (CABB), on Friday, at the Acácias Rubras pavilion.
In addition to this, on Saturday (27th), the national champion will play against Casa do Pessoa do Porto do Lobito (CPPL), also in Benguela, at his opponent’s venue.
The “oil” team, leader of the competition, with 41 points, faces in this double round local teams, theoretically accessible, who have been in the main basketball competition for two years.
CABB is in twelfth place, with 24 points, while CPPL is in seventh place (31).
On Wednesday, in anticipation of the 29th round, Petro beat Clube dos Amigos do Basquetebol de Benguela away from home (plate 100), by 116-62, at the Acácias Rubras pavilion.
The anticipation of this game was due to Petro’s next pre-competitive training camp in Serbia, starting on the 31st of this month, with a view to its participation in the African Basketball League (BAL League) in March .
