Africa-Press – Angola. Petro de Luanda has an obligation to win on Wednesday at the Tundavala stadium, in the city of Lubango, stronghold of Desportivo da Huíla, under the risk of jeopardizing the revalidation of the national title.
In the “duel”, for the 20th round of the National Football Championship of the 1st division, Girabola2022/23, Petro’s formation, leader with 63 points, will be pressured by 1.o de Agosto, who have three points less ( 60) in second place.
In the event of a triumph in this trip to Desportivo da Huila’s ground (tenth with 29), the national champion will only need a draw in the next round (penultimate) against Interclube, for the revalidation of the title achieved in the previous season (2021/22) .
A defeat by the “Catetão” team, in the city of Lubango, will give possibilities to 1.o de Agosto to fight to regain the title lost in 2019, but for that it will have to win all the games to depend only on itself.
