Africa-Press – Angola. Staff from the Municipal Command of the National Police (PN) in Muconda (Lunda Sul) seized, this Sunday, 13,980 liters of diesel destined for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The director of the Interior Institutional Communication and Press Office, Florêncio de Almeida, explained that the alleged fuel traders transported the product in 20-litre drums.
He informed that the seizure occurred after an anonymous complaint, which facilitated the work of the police staff who questioned the vehicles driven by national citizens aged between 35 and 57 years old.
The case was forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) for the necessary procedural steps.
