Africa-Press – Angola. More than 100 members of the National Police of Angola (PNA) are taking part in the Methodological Meeting of Personnel Specialists and Managers of the corporation, which runs until Wednesday, in the city of Lubango.

The purpose of the meeting is to evaluate the body’s organization and functioning, consolidate knowledge of procedures, norms and principles, as well as standardize procedures on the management of PN personnel.

At the event, topics such as proposals to amend the regulation on performance assessment of PN staff, mobility, provisions, disciplinary responsibility and instruction of disciplinary processes, staff planning for the period 2024/2027 are being addressed.

The foundations of public service, as well as innovation and measures that impact personnel management, are among other topics under discussion during the two days of meeting, behind closed doors.

The Methodological Meeting of Personnel and Staff Specialists of the National Police of Angola under the motto “For a proactive management of PNA personnel, let us improve knowledge and procedures”, is chaired by the director of Personnel and Staff of the PN, commissioner Gil Sebastião da Silva .

Participating in the meeting were municipal commanders, heads of departments and sections of Personnel and Staff, units of the Personal Security Police and Protocol Entities, the Security and Strategic Objectives Police and the Rapid Intervention Police.
