Africa-Press – Angola. A delegation, led by the Ombudsman Florbela Araújo, met today at the premises of the General Command of the National Police, with the Commander-General, Commissioner-General Arnaldo Manuel Carlos, with a view to strengthening cooperation between the two public institutions. .
In a statement,it is mentioned that the meeting also served to analyze matters related to the freedoms and fundamental guarantees of citizens, as well as cooperation in the sharing of information, taking into account the nature of work of these bodies.
For his part, Arnaldo Carlos praised the work of the Ombudsman’s Office and ensured the continuity of technical cooperation ties between the two State bodies.
In the end, Florbela Araújo said that cooperation between the parties will serve the well-being of citizens.
The meeting was attended by members of the Superior Police Council and senior technicians from the Ombudsman’s Office.
