Aristofanes dos Santos, who was speaking at a meeting he held with the newly appointed squadron commanders, urged the officers to always respect the rights, freedoms and fundamental guarantees of citizens.
“The squadron commander must donate himself to the good of the community, unite with it, correctly assist each and every citizen who presents himself to a picket line, regardless of the operational territory, refrain from practices of corruption, nepotism, arrogance , to serve with a keen sense of patriotism and mission to the Fatherland and the province in particular”, he declared.
According to the National Police, on Facebook, the occasion also served to guide those public security employees to guide their actions in a legal, urban manner, based on ethics and respect for citizens.
The commissioner also stated that he will be relentless in combating bad practices that bring the corporation into disrepute.
