Africa-Press – Angola. The climate of peace and political stability in Angola is at the base of the flow of illegal immigrants who daily violate the country’s borders, said the provincial director of Luanda of the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME), Randal Midoux Mouzinho.
Speaking this Wednesday at the provincial act of the 47th anniversary of the SME, marked April 19, the commissioner asked for everyone’s commitment to the control of maritime, river and land borders, in order to avoid the “invasion of Angolan territory illegally ”.
The official added that the country is open to all foreigners who want to contribute to the development of Angola, stressing that this contribution must be made legally.
According to the official, it is necessary to increase the levels of training and technical qualification of SME specialists in all areas of activity, especially in customer service, human rights, document fraud, issuing of identification and travel documents.
“The Directorate of the Ministry of the Interior continues to make efforts to implement the electronic passport and the system for refugees and asylum seekers, as well as the integrated system of the SME, regarding migratory acts for foreigners, border control and the stay of foreign citizens. in national territory”, he stressed.
The migration commissioner said that he rejoices with all the SME staff in Luanda, for the selfless effort and dedication with which they dedicate themselves to their daily tasks.
The day alluding to the event took place under the motto “SME 47 years – committed to modernization to better serve” and involved recreational and social activities.
The central act of the SME takes place in the province of Namibe.
