Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary of UNITA in Huíla, Augusto Samuel, considered Thursday, in Lubango, that the political year 2023, from an internal perspective, was positive, given the levels achieved in the scheduled activities.
The politician made this assessment on the sidelines of a march that marked the end of party activities in 2023, highlighting that after the 2022 General Elections, restoration work was carried out in the party organizations, from the base to the top, including the work of permanent mobilization, all successfully developed.
He highlighted that the work consisted of evaluating everything that was done well and what did not go well, in order to make corrections in the next challenges.
Furthermore, the deputy from the “bros” bench stated that there had been a satisfactory level of political and institutional intervention, as a result of the permanent presence of a UNITA vestry in the province.
He pointed out as challenges for 2024 the party’s preparation to win the General Elections in 2027 and win most of the municipalities in Huíla, “as they are the solution to solving the hunger and poverty rate”.
