Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, left the city of Huambo, a province with the same name, after completing a two-day working visit to the region.
The Holder of the Executive Branch met with members of the government of the province of Huambo. At this meeting, Governor Lotti Nolika presented the social and economic situation of this region of the central plateau.
President João Lourenço subsequently inaugurated infrastructures linked to the health, media, public administration, labor and social security and culture sectors.
The Head of State inaugurated the Huambo Journalist Training Center, the Integrated Professional Training Center (CINFOTEC), the Hemodialysis center, as well as the multidisciplinary cultural center in the province of Huambo.
The Head of State’s agenda was also filled with a visit to the works of the Missão do Dondi University hub, in the municipality of Catchiungo, which is part of the Evangelical Congregational Church of Angola (IECA).
