Africa-Press – Angola. The Head of State, João Lourenço, led this Thursday, in the city of Menongue, Cuando Cubango province, the Local Governance meeting, as part of the two-day working visit that he is carrying out in that region of the country.
Taking the floor at the beginning of the meeting, João Lourenço thanked the hospitality of the people of Cuando Cubango and the warm welcome he received on arrival in that region of the country.
Prior to the meeting, the agenda and the summary minutes of the previous Local Governance meeting were also approved.
The meeting brings together ministers from the various sectors and provincial governors.
On Friday, the last day in Cuando Cubango, the Head of State traveled to the commune of Missombo, 18 kilometers from the city of Menongue, to visit the Larviculture and Fattening Center, a GESTERRA project, created in 2018, with the sole objective of producing tilapia, fish feed and selling fingerlings (little fish for farming).
