Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, traveled this Friday to the province of Huambo, where he will inaugurate several infrastructures linked to the social sector.
At the Luanda Air Base, the Head of State, accompanied by the First Lady Ana Dias Lourenço, received farewell greetings from the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, among other individuals present for the purpose.
According to the Secretary of the President of the Republic for Institutional Communication and Press, Luís Fernando, President João Lourenço’s mission will essentially feature a set of inaugurations that will fill the day on Friday and part of Saturday morning.
The inauguration, he said, will highlight infrastructures linked to the health, media, public administration, labor and social security and culture sectors.
Luís Fernando said that João Lourenço will also meet with the local government to assess the general state of the province and pay a visit to Missão do Dondi, in the municipality of Catchiungo.
The President of the Republic returns to Luanda on Saturday, he concluded.
