PR visits "Lifua" project in the Malongo oil field

Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, visited the “Lifua”-A oil platform that is being built in the Malongo oil field by Cabinda Gulf oil campany early this Friday morning.

The “lifua” project is the first field developed with the application of the standardized manufacturing model, whose objective is the development of new fields at a lower cost, quickly and economically, using the excess capacity available in CABGOC’s existing infrastructure.

The project will also provide CABGOC and its partners with the opportunity to optimize the production of Block Zero, promote the local economy, and have a direct impact on the capacity development of the Cabinda community, through the local manufacture of the “Lifua” Platform.

At the place where the “Lifua” oil platform (Malongo oil field) is being built, the President of the Republic, João Manuel Gonçalves, observed the slide projection of the various stages of the Platform’s construction, an infrastructure that, after the completion of the its technical structuring, will then be placed off shor (sea), to start carrying out oil prospecting and production operations.
