Africa-Press – Angola. President João Lourenço will make an official visit to the Republic of Gabon this Monday, the 12th, at the invitation of the new Head of State of that Central African country, Brice Oligui Nguema. It will be a short visit, with all the activities of the programme concentrated in a single day and which will include a tête-à-tête between the two Heads of State and then an extended conversation with the members of the two delegations.
The visit will lead to the signing of cooperation agreements in different areas.
The programme also includes a moment with the press, where President João Lourenço and President Brice Oligui Nguema will specify the new direction of bilateral relations, among other current issues.
The Head of State will return to Luanda tomorrow.
It is worth remembering that on the 25th of April, President João Lourenço received the new Gabonese leader in Rome. The two statesmen were in that European city for the Pope’s funeral, which took place the day after their meeting, Saturday 26th.
