Africa-Press – Angola. President João Lourenço received on Tuesday in audience the bishop of the Annual Conference of East of Angola of the Methodist Church, Moisés Bernardo Jungo, with whom he discussed issues related to the social partnership between the government and this religious institution.
Speaking at the end of the meeting, the religious leader said that he conveyed to the Head of State the Methodist Church’s thinking on strengthening the existing partnership.
Moises Jungo reiterated that the congregation remains available to collaborate with the government in various areas, with particular reference to health, agriculture, and education.
The Annual Conference of the Methodist Church in Eastern Angola, based in Malanje, covers the provinces of Lunda-Norte, Lunda-Sul, Moxico Leste, Moxico, Cuando, and Cubango.
