Africa-Press – Angola. The Head of State, João Lourenço, left on Thursday to Dundo City, in the north-eastern Province of Lunda-Norte, aiming to inaugurate the Lueji A’nKonde University Campus.
President João Lourenço, accompanied by First Lady Ana Dias Lourenço, was bidden farewell greetings at the Luanda Air Base by the Vice-President, Esperança da Costa, and other state officials.
The President’s work agenda includes a meeting with the provincial executive to discuss, among other matters, the situation in that part of the country. During the meeting, local authorities will have the opportunity to present their concerns to the Head of State.
The Lueji A’nKonde University Campus houses the rectory building, 87 classrooms, two rooms for holding mock trials, student and faculty residences, libraries, an auditorium, administrative and leisure areas, and other facilities essential to academic activities.
Initially, it will serve more than three thousand Law and Economics students annually.
