Africa-Press – Angola. The President of Estonia, Alar Karis, begins, this Thursday, the 7th, an official 48-hour visit to Angola, at the invitation of the Head of State, João Lourenço.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alar Karis arrives in Luanda at 12:30 pm and will be received at 4 de Fevereiro International Airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António.
Angola and Estonia signed, in April last year, in the city of Tallin, a Memorandum of Understanding to reinforce bilateral cooperation between the two countries in matters of Digital Governance and Administrative Modernization. Estonia is a small Baltic country with a population of just 1.3 million. Despite its modest dimensions, it is often cited as an example of leadership in digital governance.
