Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, announced, Saturday, the creation of the National Science and Innovation Prize to distinguish researchers, teams and national institutions of excellence in the field of research.
“We will complete the construction and equipping of the science and technology museum with its planetarium, among other attractions, which, in addition to serving students and researchers, will also be open to the visiting public”, assured the Head of State, João Lourenço, in his message on the State of the Nation.
In the context of social support to the most needy and meritorious students, he said, the Executive will work to expand the attribution of internal scholarships, also adding that in the next five years, the goal is to reach ten thousand new scholarships per year.
According to the Head of State, the Government will also continue the program of sending 300 graduates and masters annually to the best universities in the world, maintaining the level of demand that it has shown.
