The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, traveled, in the early afternoon of yesterday, minutes after addressing the first extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers, to the new facilities of the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, located in the vicinity of the Axis -Travel, in Luanda, to verify the accommodation conditions made available to employees.
While staying at the site, for about an hour, the Head of State, accompanied by the sector minister, Diamantino Pedro Azevedo, visited several compartments of the new headquarters of the Ministry that oversees, among other companies in the country, Sonangol.
Upon leaving the site, there were no statements to the press. The new premises of the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas is a building right next to the Intercontinental Hotel and was recovered as part of the State’s asset recovery process.
