Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, spoke, this Tuesday, at the opening of the IX Extended Consultative Council of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX), which runs, from today until Thursday, at the Venâncio de Moura Diplomatic Academy, in Luanda .
Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, delivered the welcoming words, in a meeting that was also attended by the Minister of State and head of the Military House of the President of the Republic, Francisco Furtado, governor of Luanda, Manuel Homem, among other members of the Executive.
Under the motto “MIREX and Angolan Diplomatic Action in the Current International Context: Challenges and Perspectives”, the meeting, which among various topics, will address the strengthening of Angola’s strategic position in international and regional organizations, to boost its action in multilateral sphere.
