Africa-Press – Angola. The “Angolan rapper Prodígio wants to help other “prodigies” to make their dreams come true and has created a youth center, inaugurated Wednesday in Luanda to help develop their ideas and projects.
The Prodigia-te space, in the Prenda neighborhood, one of the most traditional in Luanda, where Osvaldo Moniz, better known as “Prodígio” was created, is a social project that will open doors to young teenagers who excel in various areas, from chess to music, identifying talents in communities and helping to develop their skills
“The objective is not to be the only one, not to be alone in the room, to share, to bring hope to these children who are where I started”, the musician told Lusa, explaining that the center will be directed “to those who behave well ”
“This is to enhance those who already have potential, those who are good at music and who behave well at school. It’s not to get in the way for those who are crooked”, he added, hoping that the center will be “a vehicle to get where they want to arrive”.
Teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17 are the preferred targets of the project and will have to be “very good” at computers, music or chess.
