Africa-Press – Angola. The permanent secretary of the PRS youth wing in Bengo Province, João Manuel Muginga, highlighted on Sunday, in Caxito City, the importance of mobilization as an essential tool to consolidate political presence within communities.
In statements to the press at the end of a mobilization day, the youth leader explained that the outreach campaign aimed to strengthen the support base and prepare militants for the 2027 general elections.
“We need to prepare and guide the population to join the party, encouraging the registration of new members, considering the upcoming electoral challenges”, he stated.
The official said that during the campaign it was possible to listen to the population’s concerns and layout the PRS’s political guidelines with a view to recruiting new militants.
The event also included the presence of the provincial secretary of the PRS in Bengo, Adão Macumbi, who reiterated his support for the youth and encouraged the continuation of outreach activities.
