Africa-Press – Angola. An arts and crafts training pavilion will be opened in Luanda from Tuesday with the aim of providing technical and professional training to young people and contributing to the country’s development.
According to a press release on Monday; the pavilion was built by the Ministry of Public Administration, Labor, and Social Security (MAPTSS) near Morro da Luz, in the municipality of Maianga.
The project is part of the Revitalization and Expansion Training Strategy of the National Network of Vocational Training Centers, promoted by the National Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (INEFOP), under the supervision of MAPTSS, headed by the minister Teresa Dias.
This strategy is aligned with the Angolan government’s commitments under the National Development Plan (PDN 2023-2027).
The expansion program aims to strengthen the training offerings of the National Vocational Training System (SNFP), with a focus on social inclusion, gender equality, improved employability and the development of skills adapted to the demands of the labor market.
