Africa-Press – Angola. Five large gullies, out of the 42 cataloged in the municipality of Sanza Pombo, Uíge province, have “accelerated” in recent days, due to the constant rains that plague the locality.
These are ravines in progression in the 200 dwellings, another in the town of Kitungo, among other ravines that threaten to destroy various social infrastructures in the locality.
As a result, the municipal administrator of Sanza Pombo, Euládia Catenda Guimas, who was concerned about the fact, said that the gullies should be stopped immediately, to avoid the destruction of various infrastructures.
Regarding the smaller ones, the administrator said that the intervention will be local, with the planting of bamboo and other methods of stagnating ravines.
