Africa-Press – Angola. Today, at 7:00 pm, the artist Raúl Silvestre presents the solo exhibition “Silence of colors” at Galeria Tamar Golan, in Luanda, which will be followed by a musical performance by emerging artist António Morango.According to Raúl Silvestre, the exhibition invites the public to critical and emotional reflection through the works “Inside the Sea”, “The Labyrinth of Birds”, “Kyanda”, “Sunflower” and “Tulips”.

The artist said that the paintings to be exhibited bring to the exhibition themes related to the country’s social issues, with a vibrant “palette” and a unique visual language of their own.

Raúl Silvestre also mentioned that the theme “Silences of Colors” represents the “spirituality” of colors in unique moments that allow us to capture and transmit the feelings of the soul.

The artist explained that he selected a total of 20 pieces to present to the public. The works were made using oil on canvas, acrylic and mixed media techniques, and their dimensions vary between 70 and 100 centimeters.

The Tamar Golan gallery, he stressed, has provided an opportunity for emerging and renowned artists to have a space to exhibit their work and share experiences throughout their artistic careers with the public.
