When speaking at the ceremony to present the results of last year’s financial year, the administrator highlighted that these were two portfolios acquired from the Savings and Credit Bank (BPC).

He explained that the first portfolio was acquired from BPC for 231 billion kwanzas, of which Recredit recovered Kz 4 billion, equivalent to 2% of the investment.

The second credit portfolio was obtained in the amount of Kz 57 billion, with Kz 73 billion having been recovered, which represents 127% of the amount invested.

Mirían Ferreira reported that, last year, 327 cases were negotiated, out of a total of 476, with a weight of 64%, with 149 cases in litigation (36%).

Of this number in the litigation department, 38 were processed for legal action, representing 73% of the total number of cases in that department.

The data presented shows that Recredit recorded an average growth rate in operating revenues of 147%, from 2020 to 2023, considering the recovery performance during the last four years.

The administrator said that despite the challenging context of high uncertainty at a macroeconomic and geopolitical level, Recredit’s activity performed positively, ending the year with a net profit of Kz 48.99 billion and growth in both assets and equity of 23%, compared to 2022.

For the 2023 financial year, Recredit has an immediate liquidity ratio of 19%, justified by the company’s profitability strategy.

The financial autonomy ratio is approximately 100%, with a return on equity (ROE) of around 18%, remaining equivalent to the average ratios presented by national banks.

He highlighted that, for the year 2024, the company will remain committed to rigorous and efficient management of its resources and aims to achieve the recovery target of Kz 28.50 billion.
