Africa-Press – Angola. The secretary of the Municipal Administration of Cazengo (Cuanza-Norte), João António Francisco, urged young people this Wednesday, in the city of Ndalatando, to seek professional skills, through technical training.
He also urged them to take advantage of the opportunities that the country offers, through investing in entrepreneurship.
Speaking at the closing of the Interim Training Plan 2024, at the Cazengo Professional Training Center, he recommended that young people dedicate themselves more to technical-professional training, in order to serve the country with dedication and necessary competence.
João António Francisco considered it essential to stimulate the culture of entrepreneurship and employability.
On the occasion, 530 young people from the municipality of Cazengo received their certificates, after 45 days of training in various courses, promoted by the local training center of the National Institute of Employment and Professional Training (INEFOP).
During the training, courses were given in hairdressing, satellite dish installation, event decoration, table and bar, cutting and sewing, manicure and pedicure, pastry, computer networks, CCTV and tiling.
These trainees are part of a total of 1,206 young people trained, in this first phase of the interim plan, in the municipalities of Cazengo, Ambaca, Cambambe, Golungo Alto and Samba Caju.
The training was part of the Action Program for the Promotion of Employability (PAPE) and took place under the motto “Modern and inclusive Professional Training, the key to development”.
