Africa-Press – Angola. The director of the Provincial Office for Integrated Economic Development in Uíge, Marcelino Ferreira, defended this Monday, greater organization of the business class and improvement of projects, to facilitate access to bank financing.
The official defended this position during a meeting held by the Provincial Office for Integrated Economic Development with businessmen in the region, responsible for the northwest delegation of the BNA and commercial banks, to discuss bank financing.
The Development Bank of Angola (BDA) has made available, over the last 17 years, in the province of Uíge, around 17 billion kwanzas to finance various projects.
Despite this, Marcelino Ferreira recognized that most of the entrepreneurs’ projects are not executable, a situation that has conditioned bank financing.
He also defended the consolidation of dialogue between businessmen and the provincial government, with a view to the economic and social development of the region.
During the meeting, the businessmen pointed out, as constraints, the bureaucracy in accessing bank financing and other requirements.
