Africa-Press – Angola. Twenty-two kilometers of the access road to the headquarters of the Massangano commune, municipality of Cambambe (Cuanza-Norte), are benefiting from earthworks, to improve the circulation of people and goods.
The information was provided, in Dondo, by the deputy municipal administrator of Cambambe for the Technical Area and Infrastructures, Gelson Miguel, who did not disclose the costs of the contract carried out by the company Hipermáquinas.
The work, which began last week and lasts 30 days, includes deforestation of verges, opening drainage ditches and soil compaction.
15 of the 22 kilometers that run from the intersection with National Road 321 to the town of Massangano have already been leveled.
The work, financed by the Government of Cuanza-Norte, will facilitate the movement of faithful to the annual pilgrimage to the sanctuary of Our Lady of Victories in Massangano, which will take place from the 14th to the 16th of August.
