The coordinator of the restoration project of the Goethe Institut Angola, Maximiliam Wemhoner, gave a positive assessment of the topics discussed at the conference as practical initiatives for museum policies, highlighting as valuable the contribution of the King of Ndongo, who defends greater contact with the parts origin societies.

The director of the Goethe Institut Angola, Gabriele Stiller-Kern, considered the entire training process to be positive, which had funding from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the support of the institution she directs, having thanked the support of the entire work team, partnership with the Museum of Anthropology and especially the professor.

Six professionals from the Museum of Anthropology, Dundo, the National Library, the National Archive of Angola and the National Institute of Heritage participated in the course, who are responsible for transmitting the acquired knowledge to their colleagues.

Alexandre Sousa, from the Angola National Archives (ANA), said that it was a unique and challenging experience that gave more knowledge to the conservation department of the new archive, which is the guardian of Angola’s collective memory.
