Africa-Press – Angola. Some countries of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) have expressed interest in purchasing services from the Angolan satellite (Angosat-2), the minister of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication, Mário Oliveira, said today.
“There is a policy at the level of satellites in the SADC region, whose interaction is very high. Angola is leading the project to share satellites in this region”, said the minister, on the sidelines of the opening of World Space Week 2022, which takes place from 4 10 of the current one, under the motto “Space and Substantiality”.
