Africa-Press – Angola. Sagrada Esperança won this Thursday, in the city of Uíge, Santa Rita de Cássia, by 2-1, stamping their passport to the quarter-finals of the Angola Cup in football.

The goals were scored by Cáchi, in the 49th minute, in a strong shot at the entrance to the penalty area, Jefer, in the 90th minute, also with a shot in the same area for the Lunda Norte team, while the only one from Santa Rita was scored by Quaresma, in the 77th minute, in a direct free kick.

With that result in the round of 16, Santa Rita de Cássia is on the way, after passing through Pombos Unidos de Negage, a team that withdrew from the competition due to financial difficulties, while Sagrada Esperança will play with Petro de Luanda in next phase.

Despite some balance recorded in the match played at the 4 de Janeiro municipal stadium, the visiting team dominated the opponent and was effective in the attack.
