The information was provided on Friday, by the president of the Board of Directors of the General Tax Administration (AGT), José Leiria, having highlighted that the amount collected resulted from the payment of import taxes in the customs area, Value Added Tax ( VAT) and Urban Property Tax (IPU), in addition to the Motor Vehicle Tax (IVM).
José Leiria also indicated that the Saurimo Tax Office this year affixed 206 stamps to commercial establishments to better monitor taxpayers, which resulted in the collection, in the month of February, of an additional payment of four million kwanzas, estimating It is clear that, by the end of March, the values amount to Kz 50 million.
He made it known that AGT has begun to intensify awareness-raising activities aimed at discouraging tax evasion, with various institutions, as well as training its staff so that they can improve their performance, so that there is more revenue collected for the coffers. of State.
