Africa-Press – Angola. Ndalatando-Scholar Nicolau Dinis Candandilo has released a book entitled Registration in the Protection of Property Rights, which addresses issues relating to the property market, security of title, and the enforceability of property rights.

Comprising 144 pages divided into four chapters, the book focuses on issues related to the property market and the importance of registration in guaranteeing the transfer and effectiveness of property rights.

Speaking to journalists, the author explained that the book aims to address disputes over property ownership at a time when legal awareness of property registration is low, leading to many cases of property belonging to others being sold.

Through this publication, the author hopes to raise public awareness of the importance of property registration in ensuring ownership and the validity of property titles, thereby preventing double sales, one of the main causes of property disputes in today’s society.

Originally from Uige Province, Nicolau Dinis Candandilo holds a law degree and a postgraduate qualification in teaching. He is dedicated to research, teaching and law.
